Up the Creek is a 4-bedroom cabin designed for small gatherings, offering a peaceful creekside setting with unique outdoor and indoor spaces for spending time together.
A standout feature of this property is the large outdoor pavilion, complete with a wood-burning fireplace and multiple outdoor TVs - ideal for group gatherings or relaxing evenings. The covered porch overlooks the nearby stream, adding to the quiet, natural setting.
The lower level includes three king bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and flat-screen TV, with one featuring a Jacuzzi tub. This level also offers a comfortable living area with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space.
Upstairs, you’ll find a fourth bedroom with a queen bed, private balcony, and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. This level also includes a sleeper sofa, pool table, and a small game table for additional entertainment.
Located about 10 miles from the Gatlinburg city limits and within reach of both the Greenbrier and Cosby entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this cabin offers a balance of accessibility and a quieter, nature-focused setting.

We loved the property. Well stocked. Beautiful. Great service. It is a cabin in the woods, but needs ant treatment. They were everywhere. Floor in living room, kitchen, bedrooms…but I’d still pick this cabin as it was amazing.

Parkside is consistently good. Staff is friendly and efficient. Would recommend that cabin be periodically checked to be sure kitchen items are there. We were missing small basic items like pot holders and can opener. Fridge didn't have any shelves in the door. Otherwise everything was fantastic. We will be back!

Always friendly and helpful. Never an issue and we visit every year. Had a leak out in a separate building and when I called they had maintenance there in 20 mins. Always a pleasure and can't wait til year time. Parkside thank you.

The cabin was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our granddaughter had a nose bleed and soiled the bedding, we called the office and the came right out with clean bedding and collected the dirty ones. No problem at all.

Roads needs to be fixed, better directions to the property, not enough wash clothes, needs dusting saw a lot of cobwebs, dishwasher didn’t work, would have been great if coffee was provided, other than that everything was great we will come again

Everything was mostly great. Beautiful cabin and property. The cabin just needs a few kitchen items. There were no potholders or sheet pans for baking and the can opener does not work. Also, the Teflon pans have scratches all over them with the Teflon missing. So the kitchen items just need some attention.

We have stayed here for 10 consecutive years. The cabin was very clean this year. we did have ants, that can get out of control quick if not addressed. Use to love the mattress, but I believe it’s the same one… probably time to replace.

"Up the Creek" was a great cabin. There were some things that needed repair but all the Park Side staff were friendly, responded quickly and worked to solve the problems, Christie and Greg are great to work with. Great group! We look forward to our next visit.

The cabin is perfect and the best setting only a few minor work needs to be done . The door handle has a sharp edge and cut my son's hand (that leads to the deck facing the creek) and the outside kitchenette connect to the pavilion was very dirty and smelly These things do not take away from our stay we enjoyed the past 3 years at the cabin and we will be back next year !!

Our original booking had a broken a/c. Abbey was able to get us into an acceptable replacement. It worked very well for our family. Small things to fix at the "Up the Creek" cabin (we didn't call anyone to come and fix because we just made it work for us)- light switches were confusing to figure out and many light bulbs needed to be replaced (especially outside); the hot tub was dirty and we had to wipe it out before we could get in; remotes were missing for outside tvs; ants in the master bathroom by the shower; ice cream was left in the freezer from a previous tenant as well as a disposable cup by the front door

Upstairs was very hot and it’s bathroom exhaust fan did not work , and we did not have one at all in our bathroom, which was the bathroom under the up stairs there was a lot of dust especially on the blinds and here and there and everywhere some of us had to buy allergy medicine but we managed and we couldn’t have asked for a better location ,also I don’t know if you’re aware, but that little room that looks like a concession stand is pretty dirty —location made the whole place worth it-also, there’s a carpenter bee and ant problem that maybe you’re not aware of but we all had a great time. It was a perfect location for not being to far up the mountain, but not in the middle of any action we would all stay again and great privacy and close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg in town

We love these cabins, the location is great. We had a lot of trouble with the livingroom tv, finally found a remote that would work it. No plug for garden tub, that was a bummer. And the broken or terribly uncomfortable outdoor furniture should be removed.

The Cabin was amazing. We loved it and where it was located. Plenty of room for everyone in our party. The babbling creek was the highlight! The whole process was great. Checking in worked out fine. Abby was very helpful. The only issue we really had was there was only one large garbage bag in the whole cabin. The garbage situation was not great. Plus the ants. But we got by and truly had a wonderful time. Lots of wonderful memories. Thanks so much!

This was our second stay in this cabin with this company. The cabin and staff were excellent. Our electricity went out around lunch and the staff called and try to relocate us to another cabin, our electricity came back on. Great stay p!

Our family had a wonderful time, it was affordable and location has pros and cons, probs the stream was beautiful and seclusion was awesome, however it was quite the drive into town but it was so worth it. We were disappointed we were unable to have a fire because there was a burn ban but understandable will be back again the staff was fabulous

Love the cabin! This was our third year at Up the Creek and we are rebooking again for next year! We love that the cabin is open yet still allows for privacy. This is the perfect place for a large family. We spend lots of time in front of the outdoor fireplace listening to the creek! So peaceful! The staff is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Check in was quick and easy. Less than 5 minutes. We usually stay in a different cabin on every visit to Gatlinburg. This cabin (Up the Creek) will definitely be a return rental. It was perfect for our family and the River was peaceful. Only complaints is that we had 2 dirty towels hung on one of the bathroom doors and someone should have cleaned off the porches and chairs before our arrival. We swept all the porch decks and cleaned off the chairs ourselves. Needs to be more than one dish towel, needs to be a bear proof trash can so you don't have to call for pickup daily. (But none of these things would keep us from renting again.) :)

Everything was PERFECT!!! It more than met my expectations. It was easy to get to, quiet, peaceful, gorgeous surroundings and my grandchildren just loved staying at the cabin. They did not want to leave for other attractions. Not one TV was turned on during our visit. Check out procedures were short and simple. The layout of the cabin is perfect and affords all privacy. I enjoyed the outsourced service for linens. The fireplace outside was phenomenal especially with all the rocking chairs. Would love to return!!!

It was a beautiful place. We loved the sound of the creek running, kids had so much fun with it. The cabin was great, it had everything we needed except for the ants. There was ants all in the upstairs bathroom and the cabin really needs a deep cleaning. Lots of dirt and dust everywhere.

Fantastic place want to rent it next year! The creek was so relaxing and fire place outside was fantastic!

Beautiful cabin/setting. The only problem was that it was dirty. Blood on a pillowcase, grease on the stove, beer caps in the bathroom , etc. That would be my only reservation about returning to a Parkside property.

We loved the service and beautiful Cabin we stayed in. It was a great getaway! The cabin needs a little TLC as a few areas were worn (the outdoor entertainment area) and some rooms were dusty with webs hanging. However, we had an amazing stay and loved the lay out, the creek, the privacy, the game room, and absolutely loved the decks and fireplaces . We will be back.

Wonderful cust. Ser. The cabin was awesome.We had 3 generations of family & there was something for all. Direction to cabin could be better. Was there 4 days & never saw Yogi Bear campground.

The cabin was awesome for our family! The creek running under the back porch was a peaceful experience. The kids & toddlers were safe enjoying the property too! I highly recommend the unit!

The stay was great this was our 3rd time at this cabin. We did have a few things that were wrong. We had a leak in one of the sky lights and they came out and fixed it. We also had some ants in the house in the upstairs bathroom. Most of the patio furniture on the front porch was broken. Upstairs shower curtain was to small for the shower. Inside rocking chair was broken. One of the fans in the outside shelter was not working. The radio on the hot tub did not work. I know all these things are minor but thought you should know. We plan on reserving this cabin again for next year. We always have a great time and the family loves it. Great place to stay and relax.

The staff was very polite and responded quickly to requests. Loved the view. My only advise is that the cabin needs a good spring cleaning as it didn't look like it had been cleaned well.

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They promptly delivered a set of sheets for a sofa sleeper that weren't there when we arrived. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this cabin. I had suggested on the previous survey that the cabin could use a decent cleaning. There is a substantial amount of dust and debris on the floor, especially the areas under tables, beds and sofas. The dishes- plates, glasses, bowls all had to be washed prior to use due to be unwashed or poorly washed. It is a great place to stay, I want to stay here again in the future, but would love to have a cleaner cabin for a vacation with my family.

This was the second time in as many years that we have stayed at "Up the Creek", it is an absolute sanctuary. It's secluded and peaceful, which is exactly what we look for when coming to Tennessee. The staff at Parkside is wonderful and we can't see ourselves staying anywhere else!

This is my second stay at this cabin. It is still very peaceful, and the outdoor pavilion is so relaxing. I plan to stay here again in the future. I think the house could stand a good spring cleaning, just the basics, such as window washing, dusting under beds and cleaning the HVAC indoor vent.

We love the peaceful setting of our cabin... Up the creek was a perfect fit for our 2 families, kids loved getting up and fishing every morning. thought we would have more wood then just a small pile since the note said a rack and having a broom in the cabin would be nice since we stayed for a week and lots of in and out with kids....
