Smoky View will provide all of the amenities vital to a perfect Smoky Mountain Getaway with its sought after Gatlinburg/Pittman Center location. It really has it all! Smoky View has 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen and a sleeper) and an extra sleeping room with 2 sets of twin bunk beds, so it will comfortably accommodate 12 adults. It is located approximately 7 miles from downtown and offers a view of the mountains. (Please note 4 wheel drive may be required during winter season.) The beauty of the view may be enjoyed while relaxing on the porch beside the outdoor fireplace or while soaking in the warmth of the outdoor hot tub. You can even watch television outside on the porch if you like! Of course when you move indoors, you will find another beckoning warm fireplace as well as 3 full baths, two of which include Jacuzzi tubs. Smoky View offers all the comforts of home, including a dishwasher, washer and dryer, Internet access, four additional televisions, and a pool table. Smoky View is also located only 1.6 miles from the Gatlinburg city limit and just minutes from downtown, allowing you to stay in the action with local restaurants and attractions. Everything was great about the stay, except for all the gnats inside the cabin - especially around the living room area and kitchen. When we were sitting on the couch or sofa, they were constantly flying around. Just very annoying while trying to relax.

It was a nice, clean cabin. I do have a suggestion. You need pot holders for the oven, flat pans to put in the oven, and forks. You only had like 5 forks.

The cabin was awesome. The utensils and cookware could have been better but we made it work. The gentleman that came up and tried to fix the ice maker on refrigerator was great. Trash pickup no problem. We had plenty of space and we will choose you all again.

Our family loved every minute at Smoky View cabin! It is absolutely beautiful and we loved everything about the cabin. It was clean and spacious, the beds were so comfortable, and the amenities were amazing! We cozied up in the many rocking chairs to the outdoor fireplace every night and enjoyed dips in the hot tub. Jeff was wonderful, and the front desk was friendly and helpful when we checked in. Thank you all for an amazing experience!

Ok, loved the cabin, your staff is super nice. But… please stock more kitchen gear. There was only like 3 teaspoons and not enough forks for everyone. Zero cookie sheets and the only spatula for the grill was busted. I’m sure that stuff goes missing but it really needs restocked. Also some dollar general hangers in the closets would be nice. We will be back tho as everything else was awesome and I’m sure you will address this. Thanks

Everyone within your company is always very kind and helpful. The only complaint I had was there was something sticking out from the base of one of the king beds and my daughter hit her leg on it twice and bruised it. I also found some things the cleaning crew missed like bottle caps and some spider webs.

The location was beautiful. Enjoyed the porch with our morning coffee. Only four chairs, maybe add a couple. Cabin was nicely decorated, comfortable furniture/beds, and kitchen had everything we needed. The ice maker in the fridge did not work. It started to slowly make ice the last day we were there. There were several strands of hair on the shower wall in the bathroom by the bunk bed room. Some of the jets in the hot tub did not work. We still rated five stars because we did not notify you while we were there.

Check in was a breeze and everything was explained to us perfectly. The cabin was as expected for me, the only complaint my husband had was that the pictures made it look bigger than it really was. Still not a big deal. The only downside we had was that the dishes in the cabinet was still wet from previous guest so we had to rewash everything. Also, the pans were scratched heavily but we didn't bother to use them because we brought our own griddle to cook on. Overall all eleven people in our group liked the cabin and would use Parkside Cabins again.

Our cabin name was smoky view & the pictures online are very deceiving. We could not see any view of the mountains due to the trees not being trimmed. The hot tub jets didn’t all work, the bathroom floors were not clean, our socks were so dirty we just kept our shoes on the whole time. We also called to get early check in and we’re told to call back the day before our arrival. We were told no one was in our cabin the night before so it shouldn’t be an issue. When we called the day before we were told to stop by the office and if our cabin was ready we could have the early check in. When we got there our cabin wasn’t ready and we were told no early check in, so we all had to change in the office bathrooms. This was super inconvenient- if we were originally told you don’t allow early check it would have been much different.

The cabin was great. It was a little dated, but overall still in good condition. Our only complaint was the floors need to be cleaned better! Everyone had to wear shoes at all times or your feet/socks were black from dirt!

This cabin was PERFECT for me and my friends to take a getaway trip. Beautiful views and such fun amenities. The only thing we were concerned about is the driveway only holds two cars so don’t plan on bringing more than that! Other than that perfection.

Everything was great but the TV on the deck did not work. I called in and the gentlemen told me there was nothing he could do about that. I would recommend getting that fixed for the next guest. Other than that, the cabin was fantastic.

Everything was great! The only inconvenience we had was coming to check in at 3:10, being told we cannot check in before 4pm. We went food shopping & came back. When we finally arrived, the cleaning lady was still mopping the floors & was apparently unaware that we were coming. We did not get a full rack of wood, just the leftovers from the previous tenants

Everything was great, down to the directions to get to the cabin after hours. Our first morning we spotted a bear walking nearby, making it a cool experience for the family. The cabin had a few spider webs inside and the pool table had no cue ball and 1 cue stick with missing tip.

Check in staff was excellent. Cabin location was great. Cabin size and layout was excellent. Bathrooms could have been cleaned better upon arrival. Cabin was adequately stocked. Firewood was very wet. Had to purchase $40 worth of dry wood to burn.

Very efficient check in process. Called about getting a couple of things take care of once we were in, and they were handled promptly. Need more silverware and light switches need to be labeled. I don't think we ever figured them out. Loved the back porch and the fire! We enjoyed our stay!

We had a very nice time at the cabin. The cabin was beautiful, and provided us with more than we expected. My only suggestion is it would be nice if you provided 2-3 citronella candles on the front porch. That would make it even more perfect!

We enjoyed the cabin and the fireplace on the patio. The beds were very comfortable. The grandkids enjoyed the bunkbeds, video games, and the pool table. Someone previously had burned trash in the trash can closest to the porch and some animal turned it over a few nights. My son and daughter picked up the trash twice, but left the trash on the ground the third time. We got up one morning and found paw prints on my son's truck. My son and son-in-law thought they were bear paw prints. The road to the cabin is a little more adventurous than what I am comfortable with, especially navigating it for the first time in the dark. When we arrived at the cabin Thursday night, no lights were on. The (motion detector??) lights on the end of the house overlooking the parking space evidently were not working which made it a little more difficult to get our things out of the vehicles and into the cabin. We assume they are motion detector lights because we did not find any switches to turn them on. If they must be manually turned on, it would be good to inform the occupants where these light switches are located.

We stayed for the week at the Smoky View cabin. It was everything the pictures showed and more! When we arrived, the people at the office were very friendly and helpful. They had everything ready for us with a little goody bag, coupons for various things around town, and even vouchers for free parking in Gatlinburg (savings of $30.00). When we arrived at the cabin, they even had lights on for us and everything was perfect! Plenty of towels, soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, and a rack of great firewood for the outside fireplace. Checkout was easy and we will certainly be back again to stay with Parkside Cabin Rentals!

The whole experience was amazing! Everyone in the office whether on the phone or in person was so helpful. We had to evacuate for a hurricane and nerves were shot not knowing what we might be going home to. But everyone that we came into contact with made everything much easier. And then the cabin was beautiful and everything that we could have hoped for. I actually didn't want to go home! Thank you so much and I look forward to doing business with you again (hopefully next time it will not be because of a hurricane!) Even under the circumstances that brought us there, we so enjoyed every moment that we were there. I had all my children and grandchildren together and we never felt crowded or in the way of each other. The teenagers even had fun!

The cabin was beautiful. It was very clean when we got there. When we checked in they gave us the wrong keys, but we didn't realize it until we got all the way up to the cabin. I called the office and told them, and without me even having to ask first, they sent someone who was there within 10 minutes to give us the correct keys.

Wonderful cabin with a great porch for relaxing and enjoying conversations with group. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. Children loved the arcade game in their bedroom and the adults made great use of the pool table on the porch. Beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. The only thing lacking was adequate dishes for our group of six adults and six children.

Everything was perfect except for the drive up to the cabin and the driveway , parking was difficult if you had more than 3 cars which we did . So it caused my husband lots of moving vehicles around and backing them down that Steep driveway in order to turn around . Other than that it was completely perfectly clean, beautiful and comfortable.

Clean inside, porch and especially pool table was not, hot tub was perfectly clean. flood lights need replacing, directions should say that the driveway becomes gravel, more dishes especially glasses are needed. Revolving cabinet not a good place to keep pots. Did not find pots until the last day. Overall nice place and we enjoyed it. Carpenter bees a problem though.

Everything was excellent! The thing we really needed that we forgot was salt and pepper. We left a new pack for the next guess! We loved it and plan to stay again in the near future!

The cabin was awesome the check in time was horrible couldn't check in until after 4:30 also the mountain side was covered with trash but otherwise good experience

The reservation and check-in process was very professional and courteous. The booklet with coupons and info you had came in very handy! The only issue we had was not with your office personally, but the road that we had to travel to get up to Smoky View. One of the worst roads we've ever driven on up there and we've been coming for 15 years. In addition, once you get up there, there's almost no way to turn your vehicle around to travel back down the hill and backing up is very dangerous as there's a drop off on one side.

Stayed with timber tops,hearthside, and outrageous cabins previously , but after staying at parkside will never use any other cabin rental service. Have used parkside 4 times highly recommend to all.

We have stayed at a lot of cabin rental company's. I will have to say that this trip was by far the best. The cabin was very nice and met all of our needs. The only problem we encountered was the firewood that was supplied was green. We had to buy some dry wood in order to get the green wood to burn. This was after it boiled all the moisture out of it. Other than that it was awesome. I work for a large Fire Dept, I have sent out an email recommending park side cabin rentals and have had several people inquire about it. The check in staff were also very friendly.
