Peacock Lodge at Sky Land Ranch

It is an older house so we knew what to expect from the pictures, but the location could not be beat! We loved the private pool in the backyard and the fire pit. The large gathering areas also fit our group for hanging out and playing games. The staff at Park Side Rentals were excellent to deal with.

Is great but the air conditioner needs fix down stairs and it needs a screen door down stairs but we love the cabin awesome

Great space for our whole family. Great location. There was never a moment that our 7 grandkids had nothing to do. Out of all the time we have stayed with Parkside, this by far has been the best thus far. Parkside has never disappointed us.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at Peacock Lodge at Skyland Ranch! The house was beautiful but does need some attention in a few areas. Great location! We would definitely stay again!

Overall good experience. Here are several things you might want to fix: --Cable box in the master bath stopped working (won’t turn on). --TV next to pool is busted. --TV in the carport needs a cable box or antenna. --AC couldn’t keep up during the day in the main living room and dining room (got up to 79). --Toilet in master bath occasionally keeps running (needs new flapper). --Batteries in some TV remotes are low (especially the two in master bedroom). --Battery might be dead in master bath fan control.

Fast check-in and great communication. Lovely house and well stocked kitchen.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything to prepare a meal. Last renters left the cook top in a rather dirty condition. Realizing this is in a forested area, you may want to consider spraying for creepy crawlers, especially in the showers.

The pool was amazing! The layout of the house was terrific. It is a little dated, but well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms,sockets,and storm doors need to be upgraded also the sinks drain was stopped up in all rooms. We definitely will return. Overall it was fantastic.

Stayed at Peacock Lodge. Although it is dated, it was great for our group. The outdoor spaces to were perfect for activities. The firepit and provided wood made for a great evening experience. Rooms were nice, heat and air kept us comfortable. No one out of our 21 guests had any issues with hot water. Would definitely look at reserving a stay again.

Good. The temperature in some of the bedrooms was hard to Control. The jacuzzi could not hold water. window needed to be cleaned. Guttering needed to be fixed. The layout was great. It was very spacious. Great for a large group.

A Beautiful Getaway with Room for All, Exciting Backyard Thrills, and Convenient Shopping Access. My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning cabin in Gatlinburg, and our experience was truly memorable. We were a group of 17 people, and the cabin provided us with ample space and comfort, far surpassing our expectations. The online pictures did not do justice to the property's beauty and size, making our arrival even more delightful. The layout of the cabin was ideal, especially for a large family like ours. There was an abundance of room, allowing us to spread out without feeling cramped. Finding a place that accommodates so many people comfortably can be a challenge, but this cabin certainly met that criteria. Each member of our party had a comfortable sleeping space, and we all appreciated the thoughtfully designed layout. The cabin's location was fantastic, nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by the tranquility of the woods. The serenity of the surroundings made for a peaceful escape from our busy lives. The amenities and facilities offered were top-notch, contributing to a truly enjoyable stay overall. One surprising and exciting highlight of our stay was the presence of a mountain coaster right in the cabin's backyard. The coaster added an element of fun and adventure to our trip, as we could hear the delighted screams of patrons, see the coaster in action, and even strike up conversations with those enjoying the ride. It was a unique and unexpected feature that contributed to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Furthermore, the convenience of having outlet malls right across the street from the cabin was an added plus. It made our shopping excursions incredibly easy and accessible, allowing us to explore and indulge in retail therapy without having to travel far. This proximity added an extra layer of convenience and entertainment to our vacation experience. One aspect that truly stood out and greatly enhanced our stay was the provision of bonus parking passes for Gatlinburg. These passes proved to be a tremendous help as we toured the strip. Parking can often be a challenge in popular tourist destinations, and having the parking passes allowed us to navigate the city with ease and without the worry of finding suitable parking spots. This thoughtful gesture by the hosts added a significant level of convenience to our trip, ensuring that we could focus on enjoying the sights and experiences of Gatlinburg. However, while our time at the cabin was mostly delightful, there were a few issues that we feel are important to address. The cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. Upon arrival, it became evident that the cabin was quite dusty and in need of a thorough cleaning. Our family is proactive about maintaining cleanliness, but the extent of the dust and spider webs throughout the interior and exterior was disappointing, especially given the cleaning fee that was charged. We understand that being in a wooded area may attract some critters, but visible spider webs indicate an oversight by the cleaning crew. Despite this setback, our appreciation for the cabin, its location, the exciting backyard feature, convenient shopping access, bonus parking passes, and the overall spaciousness remains unwavering. The charm and allure of the property managed to overshadow the cleanliness concerns. As a family, we're used to taking extra steps to ensure our surroundings are fresh and sanitary, but we hope that future guests will have a more pristine environment upon arrival. In conclusion, our stay at the Gatlinburg cabin was a wonderful experience that brought our family closer together amidst beautiful surroundings. The cabin's aesthetic appeal, size, serene location, exciting backyard feature, convenient shopping access, and the thoughtful provision of parking passes were undeniable highlights, even though some cleaning issues did arise. We look forward to returning in the future, with the hope that the cleaning aspects will be addressed to ensure an even more exceptional stay for both us and future guests.

Great experience. This was our second time staying in three years and we enjoy it every time.

This is by far our favorite Tennessee spot!! We have been coming for years so we know to bring a few things that need added/upgraded. I would love love to work with owners to come down a couple days and help stock a few needed items….not even expensive. We had a blast with the coaster riders. You guys need to hang a sign ….everyone was yelling asking if we were a rental??? We booked this year when we were there last year cor $200 deposit- kind of broke by the time we leave. Lol I called to book June 25,2025 but was told I had to pay $750 deposit which I just couldn’t do right now. Would love to book with $200 deposit if you are able to do. Will also be back this Fall in the smaller cabin. Been coming to Gatlinburg since our kids were young….now they are 40 plus years old and we have grands!! We take a number of trips but this week is always one of my very favorite. Family time In this place is amazing. Had Montgomery Inn flown in from Cincinnati and Wagyu burgers and steaks flown in from friends ranch in Montana. Happy to help anyway I can.

This was the easiest most smooth check in and out I have ever had!!! Everyone at the office is very friendly and helpful!

We love the house this is our second time renting the lodge. As always everything was as expected. Sad to know that this property may be sold. The pool man told us this. I hope that’s not the case. Any who will continue to rent through parkside cabins!

My family and myself had a great time, the only negative was the hot tub was not operational. I lost my wife to cancer in August and that was our first trip with the family since then and every one had a good time. We all needed it, Thanks for everything you did. Kudo’s to all of you for great service.

Stay was excellent except for the sewage issues. Would have liked quicker response to address the issue.

Peacock Lodge; Staff and communication was excellent during our stay! However, when we arrived at our property the Hot Tub and Swimming pool was dirty. The hot tub filter was clogged and full of debris. The outside garbage cans were full and had not been emptied from the previous renters. The sheets in two of the bedrooms were dirty and full of hair and dirt. We had to wash all linens. We found potato chip crumbs in one of the beds. One of the comforters had blood on several spots. Many of the slats (blinds) on the windows are missing which leaves no shade from the sun or privacy. The living room stayed extremely warm with no air flowing to keep this room cooled. The flower boxes on the patio are overgrown with weeds and small trees and vines are taking over the shrubbery as well. The kitchen needs new pots and pans. The ones provided are not safe to use due to the teflon flaking off. There are no potholders in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and the house is lovely but it really needs to have a detailed deep cleaning. In saying all of this... We would like to commend J.J. for coming over and cleaning the pool and hot tub for us, as well as, hanging a sheet over the bedroom window for privacy. This is such a nice property but really needs a more thorough cleaning when possible. We would rent this property in the future if there is a privacy fence or shrubbery to block the mountain coaster in the backyard.

The house was very enjoyable and had plenty of space for a large family gathering! We had an issue with the heat and the office promptly had someone out. That person (forgot name) went above and beyond to make it right. He couldn't have been nicer!! We wished there would have been more hot water for showers. The hot water seemed to run out fast. We also had an issue with the sink not draining but that was resolved very quickly as well. Overall, very nice and we'd stay there again.

Loved the pool, spacious home, and location with view! Enjoyed preparing meals and dining together at the large table. Needed pot holders, a griddle, and am not sure the ovens heated properly.

This cabin was amazing!!! Not too far from anything at all. It was a great location and not to mention the perks of having your own pool. We are definitely coming back.

You went above and beyond for us. We got dumped a week before our arrival by another company and Parkside Cabin Rentals came to our rescue. We were able to get a place with them and it was fabulous. Tina was awesome as was everyone else I talked with. We plan on a repeat stay in 2017. Thanks for a great experience.

The house was perfect for our large family. Couple of items to think about - the firewood was damp due to storage location, there were a few live bugs found in the living area, there was some partially eaten candy on the table in the living area, and the ice maker In the front fridge didn't work.

I noticed hair in the bathroom I stayed in on the floor when I first walked in. It was mostly clean everywhere else. It is a beautiful place and I definitely would love to stay there again and so would my friends. We will recommend to others this beautiful place.

We all loved staying at the lodge! Being close to all the attractions yet having our own private oasis was perfect! We all hope to come back again!
