We are a group of 5 couples who have met in Gatlinburg for 30 years.We have used Parkside most or all of at least the last 10 years. We like that the beds are good and there is enough furniture for the number of bedrooms the cabin has. This was our 2nd year at Mountain High View. It was good, but not as good as last year. The kitchen last year was well stocked with dishes and utensils to cook with.This year the cabinets were bare other than essentials like plates, silverware and glasses. The blender was on its last leg and died, there were beaters, but no mixer. There were no larger bowls that could be used in the microwave. We had serving spoons delivered. There was not a good spatula for flipping eggs. The top rack of the dishwasher was broken. The light bulb in the fan/light combo in the shower bathroom in the master bath was out. We could not pull the chains on the fan in the master bedroom. We love the size of the house and the outdoor area. We enjoyed the visit by the mother bear and her 3 cubs one morning. We have booked a different cabin from you that we have stayed in before for next year.

Residence was great with lots to offer for a getaway in the Appalachian Mountains. The place was fantastic and we held a small wedding reception with family and friends on the premises. The largest issue we faced was the number of bees, wasps and hornets making the wooden exterior of the cabin their home. The damage they are causing needs immediate attention before guests are stung.

We used Parkside Cabin Rentals for our ladies Church Retreat and I can’t brag enough about them! From making the reservation, every time I called I spoke with an actual person who was friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to help me. When we arrived at Mountain High View it was extremely clean and well taken care of not only that they had provided more than enough essentials for the 21 of us ladies to get through the weekend! When we arrived the air conditioning wasn’t cooling so I called the office they sent someone straight over and he worked on it and wasn’t able to get it fixed himself so he called in help and they worked until they had it working it was almost midnight when they got done. I am 100% sure if I had tried to call any other place to come fix the air that late I wouldn’t have gotten an answer and if I had I’d say they would have told us we would have to wait until the next day. But not Parkside!! Something happened the next night and caused the electric to go out but not to fear the house has a gigantic generator it kicked on and never missed a beat! We couldn’t tell that no one else around didn’t have electricity cause we did have it!! I will be staying with Parkside every chance I get, I promise you can’t go wrong with their service and the Mountain High View is absolutely beautiful!

We had an ambulance come out 2 day,so we were at hospital all week, truly enjoyed the home. I know the matress next to front porch needs replaced, I think its a full or queen size,it rolls you to the middle of bed. All the other beds were excellent. Thank you for the extra night,so we didn't have to get a hotel, because we were at hospital. We will never forget this vacation,lol.we stay with you every year and are always pleased, we are planning to stay at river Lodge again next year, hoping to enjoy it more than the trauma hospital. We always enjoy our stay,love the staff and service

I think it should be a few more details about location and how to get up the gravel pavement. There should be more linen for the pull outs and towels and rags and it was 6 pull outs not 3 like the description says so I think y’all should update that too bc the cabin sleeps way more than listed. We loved that big ass cabin we had a ball. We will be back next yr

this was a great cabin on top of the mountain. the cabin had everything you need, games of all kinds, great bedrooms and beds, outside fire place and a large place to set around, also had two nice grills. very happy with everything.

Love this cabin, so beautiful and so much room, the views are awesome but there were so many more dishes last time we came. Need some large plastic bowls & bigger spoons for serving, the dishwasher top rack is off the slide or something but everthing else was great. We had a great family visit & hope to come back every year. Thank Y'all

Cabin was spectacular, had everything we needed and more. Love the privacy and space. The ride up to the cabin was a little scary wouldn’t recommend the ride while snowing. Other than that, I would definitely rent with them and choose the mountain high view cabin again. Thank you

Huge, bIeautiful home, stunning view, clean (except for cobwebs in garage areas), perfect for multigenerations (we had 4 generations), the staff is phenomenal, surprisingly close to downtown fun! The only reason I can't give it a 10 is not alot of kitchen supplies for cooking in especially since they have 2 full kitchens. I expected more. Also the driveway is not easy to get up. It was no problem with our Grand Cherokee (didn't use 4 wheel drive) but 2 other family members had a Pacifica and an Equinox. They struggled. That being said we loved our stay. Outdoor patio area was the best. We will be returning if we can secure a date. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Overall everything was really nice. Each time we called we got a good response overall. Hot tub didn’t have water but the guy came to fill it and was SO nice. He had tattoos but didn’t get a name. Really great guy. The AC unit went out and took about 5 hours to resolve.. we had to ask for fans and it was HOT. The gentleman that came to bring fans was so nice and helpful. Luckily we were able to stay in the basement and keep somewhat cool. The only thing that bothered us was the guy that answered didn’t seem to care it was 80 degrees in the cabin. We worked through lots of spiders but that’s disclosed when you book. Also, the kitchen is missing several cooking necessities - a decent can opener, spatula, whisk etc.. but we made it work.

I rent a house for vacations. This is the first time I rented from you. The house was fabulous. Really appreciated how your staff took care of us. They were patient beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend you to my friends as a friend recommended you to us. It was the best experience leaving. Usually there is an hour or two of work before one leaves, not with you. Great job, wonderful staff, and a great business to work with.

Overall, our group of 10 loved the house and property. Views were top notch, plenty of space and very inviting. A few things to note, and this is nit picky, but will make the stay from an 8 to a 10; upon arrival, the upper garage door code didn't work. The intercom system would squeal randomly. Cobwebs were all over the inside of the house, like it hasn't had a though cleaning in years. We wished there was 1 more TV in the upstairs garage, mostly to listen to music as we played pool. Most notably, in the age of electronics, the internet was horrid. We had to drive into town just to get tickets, plan our day, etc. With Starlink available, this would be an easy thing to upgrade. The pillows in the hot tub are all missing. Lastly, we were really excited for the shuffleboard table, but it was in such bad shape that is was impossible to play. All in all it was a great getaway, at an amazing place. We loved our time spent at this cabin and will want to stay again. Ohh the barn is just wasted space now. A little work, you could make that into a full out game room or something very neat!

Overall the experience was great, the wifi was really not usable but our phones worked fine so not a problem. Needed and oven mitt and a pancake flipper in the kitchen. But like I say it was great.

Great place, lots of space, wonderful for a family trip stayed at Mountain View High. However gravel road is very long bumpy and lots of tree branches you have to move to drive up. Plus side you get a great view.

The house was beautifully decorated and the outside fireplace was awesome. The check in process was easy and the staff was very friendly. We a minor issue with the hot tub but working with the staff we were able to resolve the issue.

Checking was simple and easy, checked in an hour early with no wait, turn by turn directions were awesome. House was very clean and neat, and great location. Easy to get to pf or Gatlinburg. Even had a bear walk across back yard during breakfast, needless to say awesome but scary at same time, left lights on from there on out!

We were very impressed with the space in the cabin. The driveway being gravel was a suprise but we had SUVs so it was fine to get up. We loved the outside fireplace area we used it every night. I think that it could be dusted a bit more there was a lot of dust on the ceiling fans but that would be the only complaint. The cabin was stocked great wd would definitely rent this again

The house was great. The customer service was great.......................as it usually is when I've rented with you all in the past. My only negative was that the road leading up to Mountain High View should either be paved OR there should be fair warning to guest that there's a steep, gravel road leading up to the house, well before a guest pays for the house.

We had a wonderful time. There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room. Everything that we could’ve needed was there for us to make sure our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this cabin for future stays!!

You guys did great. Responded right away when needed and did it at timely frame. Our stay there was amazing and the house was lovely. The view of the mountains were so beautiful and couldn't have asked for more. The only down fault was that we were not able to order the boxing fight on Saturday (but we understand) Should reconsider for next time to have an option of buying movies or future events on cable. Should offer it with package. Just a thought.
