1. Newfound Gap
An amazing view of the mountains is provided by the Newfound Gap webcam . You’ll even be able to see part of the road in the view. This camera is set up on the Tennessee and North Carolina state line on a pull off from the road. Newfound Gap Road is the main road that connects the two halves of the national parks to both states. It is the lowest drivable pass in the national park, and it actually contributed to the park not having an entrance fee!
2. Purchase Knob
Purchase Knob is another great Smoky Mountain webcam you can enjoy when you aren’t in the area. It is located in North Carolina and faces northeast, providing you with an incredible view of mountains and valleys. The property where this camera is set up was the most recently donated to the national park. If you want to experience this view in person, it’s just a short 0.5 mile hike to the lookout point.

Ober Mountain actually has two Smoky Mountain webcams you can watch at home! The first is activities that take place at Ober, including the ski trails, tubing hill, and rock climbing wall. The Look Rock webcam is located off of Foothills Parkway, a popular scenic drive in the Smoky Mountains. Foothills Parkway is a unique road because it has been under construction for about 75 years. It has been completed in sections over time, and there are still about 33.5 miles left until the road is complete. This camera has an incredible view of the Smokies. You’ll love watching it all day! You can actually visit the spot and see the view in person. It’s just a short 0.5 mile hike!
5. Gatlinburg Space Needle
The webcam at the Gatlinburg Space Needle is perfect if you want to see what's happening in downtown Gatlinburg. It changes views, offering a look at downtown Gatlinburg, the left part of the Parkway, the right part of the Parkway, Gatlinburg facing Pigeon Forge, Ober Mountain, and the national park entrance. You'll love getting to see what's going on along the Gatlinburg Parkway and in the downtown area!
