As you make your way across the 700-foot cable bridge, whip out the camera for a picture that will be worth well over 1,000 words. You can also take the trip to the Gatlinburg Space Needle for some pictures, as the observation tower stands at 407 feet, high above downtown Gatlinburg!
3. Scenic Drives
Did you know that you can get some stunning photos of the Smoky Mountains without even leaving your car? Throughout the Smokies, you will find some relaxing scenic drives that offer plenty of places to stretch your legs and take pictures. The most popular drive in the mountains is Cades Cove , which is an 11-mile loop road in the national park. Along the way, you will see a variety of wildlife, historical buildings, and gorgeous mountain scenery. Some of the other drives to check out include the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Foothills Parkway, and Newfound Gap Road.
