Gatlinburg Trolley Tour of Lights
To truly experience the magic of the Gatlinburg lights, you can take a trolley ride through the entire area. There are special trolleys that will take visitors downtown and through the lights, giving a little bit of history behind each of the major displays in the area.
Here’s how to plan your Trolley Tour of Lights experience:
- Choose a Date and Time
The Gatlinburg trolley tours run from November 12 through January 31. The trolley tour times are 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Spaces are limited, so you’ll want to make sure to purchase tickets ahead of time!
- Purchase Your Ticket for the Gatlinburg Trolley Tour
Each ticket costs $5 for the trolley tour. There are limited tickets available, so make sure to check out the available dates and times, so you can go ahead and purchase yours before you arrive.
- Enjoy the Trolley Tour
When you arrive for the trolley tour, you’ll probably want to be dressed in winter gear, but also keep in mind that the trolleys are heated. This means you’ll want to make sure to wear jackets that can easily be removed in case you get too warm. Even though the trolleys are heated, we still recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and a long-sleeved tee shirt.
