The opening of the new section of the park has allowed them to make this festival even brighter with more sparkling lights. The highlight of the event is the ginormous 30-foot multi-colored LED tree. Be sure to bring your camera along to get pictures of your family posing in front of all the bright sculptures. One of the other highlights of the festival is the return of the Tunnel of Lights! Details of the Festival

The Lights Over Gatlinburg event runs daily during normal business hours. Please note that the best viewing time for the lights is after the sun goes down. Other Thrilling Activities

SkyLift

When you visit the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, the fun begins right from the start! To get to the top of the theme park, you must first take a ride on the iconic Gatlinburg SkyLift. Open since 1954, it was the first four-season chairlift in the South. When you are driving through town, one of the first things you will notice are the famous yellow seats that take guests on a joyride up and down the mountain.

Once you reach the top of Crockett Mountain, your family will have an array of amusing activities to choose from, including the one and only SkyBridge. It is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in not only the United States, but all of North America! The bridge stretches nearly 700 feet in length, and is highlighted by the 30-foot stretch with a glass floor. This allows guests to see exactly how high up they are. Trust us, it looks even cooler after dark with Christmas lights hanging off both sides.
