Patrons at a dinner show in the Smoky Mountains
January 30, 2013

No Gatlinburg vacation would be complete without one of the spectacular Smoky Mountain Dinner Shows. Trying to pick which one is best for your family can be a hard decision to make.

Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede in nearby Pigeon Forge is one of the most famous Dinner Shows around. Here you can expect an evening of family fun with a fantastic show that includes a little friendly North and South competition, special effects, horse riding stunts, and a fabulous musical production of country and bluegrass. Top it all off with a four course meal, complete with dessert. Start the evening with the pre-show in the Dixie Belle Saloon, fifty minutes before the main event. Tickets include the pre-show, meal, and full scale main attraction.

The Hatfield and McCoy’s Dinner show puts you in the middle of a barn dance where someone messed up and invited both the Hatfield and the McCoy families. Watch as the sheriff tries to gain control, but it’s Granny to the rescue with her famous dinner of pork BBQ, fried chicken, mashed taters, cole slaw, and corn on the cob. Can’t fit in a dinner show? Take in their Country Jamboree Breakfast, complete with sausage, scrambled eggs, buttermilk biscuits, and hash browns.

Choose which ever of the dinner shows best suits you and your family’s tastes. One thing you are guaranteed with any one of them, you won’t go hungry. All provide excellent family entertainment and plenty of delicious food.
